ARCELORMITTAL: YOUR VICTIMS ARE HUMANS TOO


For a moment, I encourage the board of ArcelorMittal to imagine themselves with missing limbs, disabled bodies, blindness, losing a loved one, living in a polluted environment, experiencing destruction of livelihood, faced with workplace harassment, or pregnant and lost unborn child due to train movements, and consider how they would feel if confronted with these conditions.

It is time to expose ArcelorMittal actions and stand up for the rights and dignity of the Liberian people, ensuring that justice prevails over profits. The board and Management of ArcelorMittal which is only driven by profits and the success of their company, has resorted to bribery to bury these egregious abuses against an already impoverished population.
